Heat Treatment Pest Control
The objectives of heat treatment are to kill all life stages of the target pest by denaturing the proteins and enzymes essential for that pest to survive.
For this we use a variety of heating units from 18 - 200KW in power to heat up the required are to the necessary target temperature.
We use temperature sensors attached to a data logging system to measure temperatures in the required areas. This then produces a graph of the treatment and a temperature profile of the job.
We can treat almost any insect using our proven methods and we have successfully treated thousands of infestations. We pride ourselves on being bed bug specialists and with over 10 years’ knowledge of bed bugs and how to treat them we are the most experienced bed bug heat treatment company in the UK.
How Does it Work
Using specialised convection heaters the room is gradually heated. Hot air is circulated in the room penetrating all the cracks and crevices where pests like to hide. To ensure all the areas reach the correct temperature sensors are placed in the room to record the temperature. This ensures that the whole room has reached the correct temperature for the correct amount of time.
Quick & Discreet
The time taken to complete the pest control heat treatment will depend on the number of rooms which need treatment. Normally most jobs can be completed in a day keeping disruption to a minimum as the rooms do get hot especially in small premises.
All our operatives use unbranded vans. The convection heaters are quiet, unobtrusive and all inside the property with no requirement for a trailor outside.
A quick, discreet and cost effective service to remove pests from your property.
